Cooperative Committee of Water Associations

The Cooperative Committee of Water Associations (CCWA). was established in 2005 with support from the BC Ministry of Health and the Sustainable Infrastructure Society.

Representation

The Cooperative Committee of Water Associations (CCWA) is a voluntary partnership of water association representatives within the province of British Columbia. Member associations include:

  • BC Groundwater Association
  • BC Water and Waste Association
  • Coastal Water Suppliers Association
  • Small Water Users Association of BC
  • Sustainable Infrastructure Society
  • Water Supply Association of BC.

Mission

The CCWA is dedicated to promotion of collaboration and co-operation between the member water associations and their membership.

Goals

  • Co-ordinate co-association activities.
  • Accommodate affordable joint membership of water associations.
  • Synergize efforts on common water related issues.
  • Facilitate co-operative initiatives with Government.
  • Generate advancement of the water industry.
  • Maintain the diversity and viability of the member associations.
